This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your personal information when you visit https://shethrivesenterprise.org (the “Site”), download our resources, make a donation, subscribe to our communications, or otherwise interact with our services.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

  • Subscribe to our newsletter — name and email address;

  • Make a donation — name, email address, billing information, and donation amount (payment card details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, not stored by us);

  • Contact us — name, email address, and the contents of your message.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, which may include:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location;
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system;
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, and time spent on the Site;
  • Analytics identifiers and advertising identifiers.

Information from Third Parties

If you interact with us on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google), we may receive information from those platforms consistent with your settings on those services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Deliver the free resources, downloads, and services you request;
  • Send email newsletters and, where you have consented, SMS/text messages (approximately 2–4 marketing messages per month; message and data rates may apply);
  • Process and acknowledge donations, issue donation receipts, and maintain donor records as required by law;
  • Manage our volunteer and blog contributor programs;
  • Respond to your questions and requests;
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve our content, resources, and outreach;
  • Promote our mission, programs, events, and fundraising campaigns;
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms and Conditions, and protect the rights, safety, and property of our organization and others.

We do not sell your personal information, and as a nonprofit we do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics — to measure Site traffic and understand visitor behavior in aggregate;
  • Advertising and social media pixels (such as Meta/Facebook tools) — which may be used to measure the effectiveness of our outreach and show you relevant content about our mission on other platforms;
  • Functional cookies — that help the Site operate properly, remember your preferences, and support features such as forms and caching.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser opt-out tool, and you can manage ad preferences through your accounts on platforms like Facebook and Google. Disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality.

We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, as no industry standard for them has been adopted.

4. SMS/Text Messaging Program

If you opt in to receive text messages from SHE Thrives:

  • You consent to receive approximately 2–4 marketing/informational messages per month. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving any resources, services, or donations.
  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may reply HELP for assistance or contact us at info@shethrivesenterprise.org.
  • Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and texting consent records are shared only with our SMS platform provider as necessary to deliver messages.

5. How We Share Information

We share personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers. With trusted vendors who perform services on our behalf — such as website hosting, email and SMS delivery platforms, form and CRM tools, payment processors, and analytics providers — under obligations to use the information only to provide those services;
  • Payment Processing. Donation payments are handled by third-party payment processors; your payment card information is submitted directly to them and governed by their privacy policies;
  • Legal Requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others;
  • Organizational Changes. In connection with a merger, reorganization, or transfer of our nonprofit operations, subject to this Privacy Policy;

The Site is intended for adults aged 18 and older. Although some of our free resources are designed for children and teens, those materials are intended to be downloaded by a parent, legal guardian, or educator on the child’s behalf.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our forms are directed to adults. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us at info@shethrivesenterprise.org and we will promptly delete it.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
