Terms and Conditions

SHE Thrives Enterprise Foundation Last Updated: July 27, 2026

Welcome to SHE Thrives Enterprise. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at https://shethrivesenterprise.org (the “Site”) and all content, resources, downloads, programs, and services made available through it (collectively, the “Services”). The Site is owned and operated by SHE Thrives Enterprise Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN #83-0655868) (“SHE Thrives,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. About Our Organization

SHE Thrives Enterprise Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering, educating, and elevating women and girls through free online resources, advocacy, mentorship partnerships, and community programs. Our Services are provided for informational, educational, and inspirational purposes.

2. Eligibility and Use by Minors

The Site is intended for use by individuals aged 18 and older. Some of our free downloadable resources are designed for younger audiences, including early childhood (ages 3–8), adolescent (ages 9–15), and young adult (16+) materials. These resources are intended to be accessed, downloaded, and shared by a parent, legal guardian, educator, or other responsible adult on behalf of a minor.

If you are under 18, you may only use the Site with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us without parental consent, please contact us at info@shethrivesenterprise.org so we can remove it.

3. Free Resources and License to Use

We offer free downloadable workbooks, guides, coloring pages, courses, and other digital materials (the “Resources”). When you download or access our Resources, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use them for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes only.

You may not:

  • Sell, resell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit any Resources;
  • Remove copyright notices, branding, or attribution from any Resources;
  • Republish, redistribute, or upload Resources to other websites, marketplaces, or file-sharing platforms without our prior written permission;
  • Modify Resources and present them as your own work.

Educators, nonprofits, shelters, schools, and community organizations wishing to distribute Resources in bulk or as part of a program are welcome to contact us at info@shethrivesenterprise.org for permission, which we are generally happy to grant.

4. Not Professional Advice

Our Resources, blog articles, courses, and community content address topics such as self-confidence, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, wellness, self-care, financial literacy, and business growth. All such content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute, and should not be relied upon as:

  • Medical, mental health, or therapeutic advice;
  • Financial, investment, tax, or accounting advice;
  • Legal advice; or
  • Any other form of professional advice.

Always seek the guidance of a qualified professional — such as a physician, licensed therapist, financial advisor, or attorney — regarding your specific circumstances. Never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read or downloaded from the Site. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, call 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) immediately.

5. Donations

Donations made through the Site support our nonprofit mission of providing free resources, mentorship, and empowerment tools for women and girls.

  • Tax Deductibility. SHE Thrives Enterprise Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your individual situation. Donation receipts will be provided for your records.
  • Refunds. All donations are final and non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error (for example, a duplicate transaction or incorrect amount), please contact us at info@shethrivesenterprise.org within 15 days of the transaction, and we will review the request in good faith.
  • Use of Funds. Unless a donation is expressly designated for a specific program, all donations are unrestricted and may be applied where they are most needed to further our mission.
  • Payment Processing. Donations are processed by third-party payment processors. Your use of those services is subject to the processor’s own terms and privacy policies.

6. Gift Shop and Affiliate Disclosure

Our “Empowerment Gift Shop” links to products sold on Amazon.com through an Amazon storefront and associated affiliate links. Please note:

  • All gift shop purchases are made on Amazon, not on this Site. Your purchase is governed entirely by Amazon’s terms of use, pricing, shipping, and return policies. SHE Thrives is not the seller of record and is not responsible for product quality, fulfillment, returns, or customer service for those purchases.
  • Affiliate Disclosure: As an Amazon Associate and/or Amazon Influencer, we may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through links on the Site, at no additional cost to you. These proceeds help support our nonprofit mission.

7. Volunteer Blog Program and User Submissions

We invite volunteers to contribute blog posts, stories, and other content (“Submissions”). By providing a Submission to us, you agree that:

  • Ownership and License. You retain ownership of your Submission, but you grant SHE Thrives a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, edit, adapt, distribute, display, and promote your Submission on the Site, our social media channels, newsletters, and other materials in furtherance of our mission, with or without attribution as agreed at the time of submission.
  • Originality. Your Submission is your own original work, does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party, and does not contain defamatory, misleading, or unlawful content.
  • Editorial Discretion. We may edit Submissions for length, clarity, style, and SEO, and we may decline to publish or may remove any Submission at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion.
  • No Compensation. Volunteer Submissions are made without expectation of payment or compensation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Personal Stories. If your Submission includes personal experiences involving other identifiable individuals, you are responsible for ensuring you have any necessary consent to share those details.

8. Newsletter, Email, and SMS Communications

By submitting your contact information through our forms and providing consent, you agree to receive email and/or text message communications from SHE Thrives, including approximately 2–4 marketing messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of accessing any Resources or Services.

  • You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.
  • You may unsubscribe from emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message.
  • For help, reply HELP or contact us at info@shethrivesenterprise.org.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, workbooks, guides, courses, blog posts, page layouts, and design elements — is the property of SHE Thrives Enterprise Foundation or its content contributors and licensors, and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The names “SHE Thrives Enterprise,” “Strive. Honor. Elevate.,” and associated logos and branding may not be used without our prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Site or its content except for the limited license described in Section 3.

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, please send a notice to info@shethrivesenterprise.org that includes: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) the location of the allegedly infringing material on the Site; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized; and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

10. Community Conduct

If you participate in our online groups, comments, events, or any interactive features, you agree to engage respectfully and to refrain from posting content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful. We reserve the right to remove content and restrict participation for anyone who violates these standards.

11. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including Amazon, social media platforms, payment processors, and GuideStar. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL SERVICES AND RESOURCES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY RESOURCE WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME OR RESULT.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SHE THRIVES ENTERPRISE FOUNDATION AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE, SERVICES, OR RESOURCES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100 USD) OR THE AMOUNT YOU DONATED TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SHE Thrives Enterprise Foundation and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site or Resources; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your Submission; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

15. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please review it carefully.

16. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site or any Services at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users or our organization, or is otherwise unlawful. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 7, 9, 12, 13, and 14) will survive.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be posted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Before filing any formal claim, both parties agree to first attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other party.

19. Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SHE Thrives regarding the Site.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
  • No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization or transfer of our nonprofit operations.
